Do you sell original artwork in addition to Giclée prints?
Yes, we sell original paintings, sculpture and works on paper. We also sell books that showcase the artists work.

Tell me more about the Giclée prints you sell.
Our Giclée prints are made using archival quality inks and paper or canvas. All Giclées are signed by the artist and in some cases are limited editions.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Please allow up to 2 – 4 weeks for delivery. We will provide you with a tracking number when the order is shipped.

How will you ship the work?
We ship using UPS ground. When the item is shipped you will be provided with a tracking number. . Larger items that require special shipping may need to have shipping costs calculated after you place your order. Due to changes in shipping fees charged by freight companies, these amounts cannot be accurately determined until the order is placed. We will contact you for your approval of the shipping fees and order total before completing the order.

Is the work ready to hang?
Depends on what the artists prefers. Some works are printed on stretched canvas ready to hang. Others are printed on fine art quality archival paper ready for the customer to frame. Please check the description of the work for details. If you have any questions feel free to email us and we will answer your questions in a timely manner.

Can I try the artwork out before I decide to buy?
Sorry, once a piece is ordered it is yours. We will only take work back and give refunds if the work is damaged upon delivery. Damaged items may be returned within seven (7) days of receipt for a full refund, excluding shipping fees. Customer is responsible for all shipping fees. The refund will be issued after we receive the returned item in good condition.

Can I commission an artist on curiousroom.com?
Absolutely, please email us with your needs and we will contact you with details.

Yes! Please send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What do I need to do to have my work on the Curious Room site?
Go to the contact page and send us an email with a link to samples of your work. Please do not send any images via email or snail mail. If we are interested we will contact you.

How do you pick your artists for Curious Room site?
We choose working artists that have an extensive and evolving body of work and a dedication to their craft. Our working relationship is critical because it is the responsibility of the artist to ship the work in a timely manner and maintain high professional standards. With that in mind we work with a limited number of artists at any one time.

What kind of work are you interested in?
While we are interested in all forms of quality visual art, we focus on selling fine art limited edition Giclée prints.

Do you offer original works in addition to prints?
Yes, we sell original paintings, sculpture and works on paper and we are happy to consider any work that our artists offer. However, we ask that if the artist puts an original on the site that they have the work available for sale. In other words, don’t sell the work and forget to tell us so we can take it off the site. We ask that you leave original work on the site for at least two months.

Do I have to ship my work that is sold on Curious Room to the customer?
Generally yes. In some instances we may ship the work for the artist, but this is rare and handled case by case.

Do I have to print my own Giclée prints?
Generally you are responsible for making your own prints. We can recommend some quality print shops if needed. On rare occasions we have made prints for the artists, but this is not standard practice.

How soon do I have to ship the work after the order is received?
Within one week.

Is our agreement exclusive?
No. You can take your work off the Curious Room site with 7 days written notice.
